Solar Work in Ottawa
The Carpenters’ of Ontario are known for looking beyond traditional construction in order to create career growth and opportunities within the ever-changing industry. In the July 25, 2013 issue of Daily Commercial News, carpenters from Local 1946 got to show off their new 31,000 square foot training facility located in London, Ontario, with carpenters in training to handle solar panels. Local 27 carpenters were the next to demonstrate the facility they built to provide instruction in solar farm assembly. It is located in Vaughan, Ontario. These photos are of carpenters putting their training to work and are taking part in solar work in Ottawa, Ontario
Scaffold Gallery
Carpenters who are skilled at scaffolding construction work in both the public and private sectors. The work keeps structures and workers safe as they repair, clean, retrofit or construct a building. Part of our work in the industrial sector involves scaffolding. Although the scaffold structure is temporary, the work that needs to be done cannot be achieved without it. Check out our gallery of carpenters in action building different types of scaffolding and see the amazing quality of work we do every day!
